Let me just say wow...I just installed the FireFox Web Developer Tools and wow... Have I said wow yet?
Here I am in an audio chat with Dan. I install the toolbar at his suggestion. Here's what happened...
Me: Disable Domain Cookies, Disable Cookies, Disable Image, Disable Java, Disable JavaScript, Disable Styles...? Wow...
Dan: And that's just the first button!
Me: I know!!!
Does this mean we're super geeky? :-)
Chris Pederick wrote the Web Developer Tools and he's also done a User Agent Switcher that I'll be checking out. There's some screenshots and details at his site if you're not the adventurous type to install without knowing first what you're getting... (Chris, I don't know you but I like you already. Thanks so much!)

But IE has a toolbar that pretty much does what FF Web Developer tools does.

Thanks Ranjan, I'll have to take a look at this one then. I've used the one for IE 5+ before, but since I upgraded to IE6 on my work machine, I've gone without. ~Angela

Hi again,
I went to the dwfaq and saw this "The Color Asistant toolbar is only compatible with Dreamweaver MX"...
So I'll go a get me a copy.
Kim
Ohhhh that was written so long ago when people still were using DW4 which it doesn't work with. I'll make sure the store gets updated and thanks so much for the purchase. :-) ~Angela

Hi Angela,
I just stumbled over the URL to your website and I'm glad I did. First of all because I finally found developers tools for FF08 (I refused to replace my FB07 with FF08 cos' I couldn't find the tools). Now I have and I'm happy.
Secondly because of the images galleries.... this is probably not appropriate to write but you must be the most gorgeous "geek" ever walked this planet. Maybe I should take up CF :)
More seriously... will the color assistant become available for DMX04?
Kim
Hello Kim,
<blush>Thanks for the kind words.</blush> Color Assistant is already compatible with Dreamweaver MX 2004. If there is something that gave you the impression that it wasn't, please let me know. :-) ~Angela

let's see, you have 1...2...3..3 wow's..no wait 4 wow's. Yes, 4 total wow's. I have to add a 5th!! No..scratch that, I have to add a WOW for every menu and menu item...view CSS, validation..what a concept..this is awsome thanks for sharing it! I actually used it to help a friend fix a display problem on a website, without pain!
as for installing it, make sure you are access the installer from Firefox not IE or another browser..Firefox will kick off the install.
thanks again angela!!! awsome..totally awsome!
I couldn't agree more :-) You're very welcome. I'm glad to hear my post has enlightened you (and hopefully many others). Enjoy! ~Angela

Hi Angela:
In my infinate wisdom, I downloaded the utilities from IE. :-)
Once I accessed the link to the developer tools in Firefox, it immediately prompted for install.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, though!
D'oh! :-) Time to set FireFox as your default browser ;-) ~Angela

Hi Angela,
Thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention. It looks like a fantastic utility.
Unfortunately, I cannot figure out how to install this thing. :-)
Any quick pointers?
Hi Josh,
Well, have you installed FireFox already? ;-)
If so, all I did was go the first link in my original post, click the Install link and follow the prompts. ~Angela
