"This is where most people fail in my opinion...they believe that by purchasing a boxed solution they will not have to learn how to do basic programming! That is they believe this until they actually have the boxed solution installed than find out that everything from their own ISP's configurations to cross browser problems has an effect on their 100% plug and pray solution."~Redmanz

In less than 2 weeks, May 30th to be exact, I'll be turning 30 years old. I don't know that I really see it as the milestone that most people do and I'm not up in arms about it either. Perhaps in 10 years when I turn 40 it will feel that way.
Turning 30 just hasn't been a big deal for me. In fact, I can't even figure out how I'd like to celebrate it (if at all)...
So why am I even blogging about it? Well heck it is my birthday we're talking about and I guess I'd like to do something special for it (but not just because it is a "milestone"). I just can't think of what that might be and I figured if I blog about it perhaps some of you reading this might leave a comment with some suggestions.
My birthday falls on Memorial Day (Observed) this year. (Trivia: May 30th is always Memorial Day, but it is celebrated on the last Monday of the month which is technically Memorial Day Observed.) Mondays aren't exactly a "party" night around here, so please keep that in mind when making any suggestions. Thanks!

30 isn't a big deal... just another birthday... life really begins at 40!
According to my birth certificate mine began nearly 30 years ago ;-) ...and I agree, its not a big deal itself.
I do think that I should celebrate life itself and my 30th birthday is as good a day as any to do so. I consider myself pretty lucky to still be here after all I've been through the last couple years. Hopefully I'll see another 10 years so I can really start living ;-) ~Angela

It is the milestone, Angela, it is :-(
In 10 years it will be already 1 and 1/3 of the milestone :-((
And in 30 years it will be alredy 2 milestones :-(((
But don't worry, 1 milestone is not really a pain :-)
Enjoy your life :-))
And be happy :-)))
Yeah, I suppose it is a milestone but it feels like just another birthday, which I guess is a good thing. :-) Thanks! ~Angela
